Since my piggies current cage is too small for them I let them roam the kitchen every day.
Today I noticed one of them was trying to scrape something off the floor with her teeth. I looked and it was a tiny bit of smeared chocolate on the ground. A little bit must have fallen when I got it off the fridge.
I know chocolate and dairy is dangerous to piggies and now I'm really scared she might have injested a very small bit.
When I cleaned the smear off the ground it didnt have tooth marks but I'm still worried. She most likely tasted it a bit and saw it was sweet.
Please help. Will my piggie be alright?

I'd think they should be okay as I'm reading of people whose pigs had similar things happen and all was fine ..just keep a eye on them

I'd say diaherra would be a sign to look out for and maybe if they become very lethargic...

Hm shes running around a chutting.
I'm not quite sure would be considered lethargy because the piggie who was trying to get her teeth in the chocolate is very lazy and lays down a lot in her cage.
She only runs when shes on the ground.

And the other piggie was kind of lethargic when I was holding her and when I put her on a chair but when I put her on the ground she started to run.
But they don't do much at all. Unless someone disturbs their hiding

Pretty much if say they laid down and you went to pet her and they just laid there and didn't try to run or move and you try to make them move but they won't..

They're running quite a bit. They do lay down when they're in their cage and are okay with petting but when I pick them up they do move a lot. Right now they're hiding and when I to pick them up or find them they run really fast.
None of these sound like real lethargy right?

hey, I am sure she'll be fine. Look out for Diarrhea but that small amount of chocolate shouldn't be an issue at all
