Ginny is just coming up to a year old. She has always had quite strong seasons, lots of rumble strutting etc. but calms down after a couple of days. This time however, she is still rumble strutting after a week. It's annoying me, never mind her poor cage mate (who is the dominant one). Poor Luna must be sick of being chased round the cage, she tells Ginny off, and won't let her hump her. World war 3 broke out yesterday, I think Luna had had enough, and was lunging at Ginny and chasing her away.
Surely she can't still be in season after a week? Do you think she's just making a play for dominance? has anyone had this experience before?

It sounds as though she's asserting her dominance, it's an age that comes with lots of hormones!

It might be worth a vet check up too, sometimes this sort of grumpiness can be linked with ovarian cysts (I don't mean to scare, it's just worth a check).

It's probably just normal teenage hormones, my 4 girls often have moments like this. I just keep an eye on them to make sure they're okay and still getting along :)

What size cage are they in?

Should be plenty of space for them! Hopefully it will calm down soon, has Luna got somewhere she can go for a rest or is she constantly being chased?

Luna can look after herself! She's in charge really, Ginny is all bluff LOL. Luna tells her off eventually, and they both go for a lie down.
