Is it possible to buy ready made cage liners for a Liberta 120? Also what the best way to feed hay, so I can manage the poops?

Yes we actually have a few members on here who make them to your specific size, colours etc, sorry but i cannot think of their names at the moment, but i am sure they will come forward or someone else will tell you who they are, i am not sure if floydie does them, she does fab coseys and snuggles.

It may be easier to have a hay tray (if your cage is big enough - a cat litter tray would be best) fill this with hay, they will sit in it to eat the hay, and as they are eating they will poo in there too, so then when its past its best, empty the tray in the bin and start again, i doubt they'll do all of their poo's in there, but it will definitely help.

I was thinking either vetbed or fleece?

Yes that sounds good about the cat tray I'm currently using a hay-rack only due to lack of space in this cage I have, my Liberta comes tomorrow so shall have plenty more space :)

Yes alot of people use them and swear by them, they are cheap enough to pick up in home bargains and poundland. Others use newspaper and old towels.

xx

I think if you had a premade cage liner you wouldn't need them - not 100% sure though.

But people who use fleece use them underneath the fleece to soak up the wee, if that makes sense.

And also could I used one on those corner little trays for hay?

If you mean "corner litter tray" yes you can use them. I used one for my 2 boys. Unfortunately it was such a hit and both wanted to lay and sleep in it I ended up having to get two.

i tried this but found they got in it and pee'd and pooped all over there hay and it got really disgusting so you need some sort of absorbent base for the litter tray, i personally prefer a hay rack due to hygiene !
