Our girls are going to piggy boarding whilst we are on holiday for six days, it's quite a while away though at the moment.
There's the options of bedding as follows.
-readigrass
-hay
-fitch
-vetbed

I understand readigrass isn't too brilliant, we have never bedded them on fitch so I can rule that one out, and the girls are bedded on fleece currently, however I worry if they are on vetbed they will pull at the vetbed or get nails stuck as I understand it is more 'spongey' than fleece. We are bringing our own timothy and meadow hay along, which sways me to choose hay as the bedding. Which bedding sounds the best to you?

I personally would go with Vetbed. Readigrass is totally unsuitable as a bedding as it should be fed in very limited amounts. If you are worried about vetbed I would go with hay but Vetbed I would recommend over anything else and I would have mine bedded on it all the time if my set up was different. They have small vetbed areas though and it is what they sit on the most. Fitch is good too and I have my hamsters on it.

Have you found any of your piggies getting nails caught/ or any tugging at the vetbed? x

We will have a chat with Steph at the boarding place, she knows her stuff so we will get the right bedding in the end lol :P

Vetbed! Comfy, absorbant etc. Used it for a while and never had a problem with nails getting caught or anything. Just found it was harder to sweep away the poos so found fleece easier. As your not the one having to clean it then Vetbed the best option I reckon :) Defo not Readigrass, ditto what @helen105281 said!

It depends if you like material bedding types or particle beddings best.
I would go for hay as it isn't very absorbant, and I wouldn't go for Fitch either. You use fleece which they could get thier nails stuck in and vet bed is similar.
