ReadiGrass for horses suitable for piggies?

Is this stuff the same as the Readigrass for small animals? ?/ And is it for feeding INSTEAD of or AS WELL AS hay? am confused... but it seems good value in this huge bale... ( fed up with buying hay for small animals that turns out dusty and unpalatable)

The lady i went to see on saturday buys her readigrass in bales...and saws it in half, i think its the same

Teejay @ V.I.Piggies feeds readigrass she get in horse bales. My guys loved it when they were on holiday at hers so she gave us a bag home with us!

Yes it is the same,but it would take you a long time to get through a bale(bag) as they only need a handful per pig per day . No it does not replace hay, they need the .long stalks to grind down their teeth

I saw the bales in half so that I can lift them,a bale last me about 12 weeks ,but I have 27 GPs.

I have a bag of it as well, not even down a quarter of it for my 4, I dont feed instead of hay, they have axcess to it as well as hay but I probably top up the feeder once a week, they do love it but prefer the hay
