reaction to snapping

What do you mean by snap? Could be. Vibrating is usually because they don’t like something. Does he live alone? They’re highly social and need companionship of their own kind.

Whenever my guinea pig snaps my guinea pig vibrates, it is really weird. He also goes into his hidey, I think that He's it as a warning sign but I don't know?

Hi and welcome!

Could you please take a video. It is very difficult from your description to but the behaviours into the appropriate situational context and see the body language involved.

Do you have two guinea pigs or just one and is this between your guinea pigs or between your guinea pig and you?

I'm sorry for the confusion, when ever I snap my finger twice , he seems to just vibrate. He lives alone, his companion dies 2 months ago.

That sounds most like he simply doesn’t like it when you snap your fingers.
Do look to find him a character compatible friend. He will benefit greatly from having a new friend to share his life with.

Guinea pigs don't like sudden sharp sounds; they are prey animals and wired to react to that as a potential risk for their lives. Please find another gentler way to get his attention.
