Trying to get my adult sows back together. I had them out last night on the couch to start and they had a full on scuffle. Boomer submitted with Thrace being very dominant, but Thrace doesnt seem to want to accept her. While theres no actual harm being inflicted, theres no biteing of ears or biting with intent to break the skin. Boomer is chased round alot and when in the cage together and seems to have to stay on top of boxes otherwise Thrace will bully her.
Now while I know what Thrace is doing is completly natural, I'm wondering if they're just not a sutible match and to give up. Boomer seems terrified, the moment Thrace comes near she bolts away and freezes. When they were in together before they were never friends but there wasnt any animosity, Boomer wasnt aloud in the box Thrace was in, but they had two so that was ok, and there was no chasing just the normal occasinal warning nip.
Theyve been in together all night to see if its a matter of time thing, but Boomers still on the box about 99% of the time and still terrified, there were no injurys at all so I'm not worried about her being hurt, but I dont think her living like that is fair if it continues. I've taken Boomer out for a break and shes much happier, nomming her hay and smooshing everywhere to sleep.

Do you think its worth trying again with bonding them or to give up and try and find a friend she does like?

Any tips to try and make them get on better?
