Raviera Bedding - Has Anyone Else Used It?

I went into Millbry Hill to get some Hemcore but they didn't have it. Apparently Hemp Technology Ltd who produced it went into Administration on 28th October 2013. It seems that everytime I find something that is good for my piggies they either change it, like Megazorb or the firm goes bust.

I was looking around & saw Raviera horse bedding which looks the same as Hemcore but it's made from oilseed rape. I'm going to try it & it was only £7.49 for a 20Kg bag so if it does work it will be a saving on the £11.00 I was paying for Hemcore which I'd changed to from Auboise which is virtually the same as Hemcore but costs about £3 more probably because it comes from France. Fittingly for guinea pigs Raviera is made by a company called Caviera. I've got it now so it's on a few weeks trial & I'll report back later on if it works or not. I havent used it but a local supplier to me sells it and they deliver for free to all TS postcodes, Pet and Equine warehouse they're called in Skelton :-) http://www.petandequinewarehouse.co.uk/raviera-rape-straw-bedding-101-p.asp have been tempted to get a bag like :-) this is where I get megazorb (only thing that stops the rats absolutely stinking, people say they dont smell yes they do always have an odour even when clean I guess I just cant get used to it like others do) and my piggies hay from :-)

The delivery is a bit random as it's just a guy who works for them and his van but always within a couple of days and I have requested evening delivery and it was never an issue their website is pants probably better to ring them tbh

I have used this for around 9 months now and find it better than most others I have used.
