Hi!

If I remember correctly I was prescribed somewhere around 0.3 ml twice daily for my Pili Pala. I hope that your vet will call back in time.

What is the problem your are dealing with?

Sorry to reignite this thread but I had never heard of this drug being used in piggies. But my piggies been prescribed 1ml twice daily. In the form of crushed tablets. Not sure if this is correct as seems higher than the answers on here.

1 ml is a fluid measure so how does that translate to the tablets you have been given. The active ingredient in any medication is measured in milligrams (mg). The concentration can differ depending on the target species and should be mentioned on the label.

Keep in mind that tablets and fluids consist of mainly a carrier product and a small amount of the active substance. You need to establish first that the concentrations are the same in the medications you are comparing.
