How long have they had there ramp ? do you put there veg up there ? have you tried to put one up the top and one at the bottom and see if that helps ? (:

Hmm, my pigs have always had a ramp so they got used to it quite quickly but with there new cage they we're unsure as it was bigger and steeper i put Bentley on the top level and Chester on the bottom and they soon figured it out, slowly but surely, sometimes putting them on the ramp like halfway up works as long as your there incase they go to fall or anything (:

Do you have anything on your ramp? like tubes or fleece? Piggies feel more secure when going up tubes and gripping onto fleece x

Try putting them halfway up and helping him up there a few times...it will probably take them a while to get used to it! Persevere!

It seems to depend on the pigs. My young lad Peanut Butter figured the ramp out on his own and fairly quickly. I had to put the older chap Hazelnut on the ramp in order to get him to go up or down, which he readily did once you had him on the ramp, but after several months he still never used the ramp on his own. After seeing this item in another member's post, I had fleece ramp tunnels made for me. What a difference! Both boys go up and down that ramp all day long. And it took Hazlenut only one day to use that ramp on his own with the tunnel thingy on it.

I put the girls in a new hutch with a ramp and they took to it straight away no problems at all.

My ramp is a length of guttering, so it has sides to keep them safe using it and carpet glued to the bottom to give them grip. ;)

Max never used the ramp, well neither does Ruby, she prefers to jump on her house then onto the platform. Funny... I seen Max on the platform for the first time today, guess his food bowl was empty so he went and got Ruby's food.

Hi, my pigs got used to it very soon!
I showed them how to use the ramp by putting Loki at the Top n Harv at the bottom. After about 15 minuets of staring, Loki decided to jump of the ramp!
He loves it now though! he's been running up n down It all day!
Loki is teaching Harv I think cause Loki always runs up, then harvey slowly takes a few steps up before squeaking and running back down again :)
They'll get the hang of it!
