hi, does any one know where i can get a cheap hidey house to put in my hutch , to make the ramp less steep? one of my piggys is getting old and sometimes struggles.

thankyou

I use one of the log rolls arched on a slant and placed under the bottom of the ramp. Then they come down onto it and turn and go down the log roll on the cage floor, it works really well.

What have you got lining the ramp? I used an old yoga sticky mat and cut it to size - piggies get plenty of traction that way, don't know if that will also help along with making it less steep.

Do you have a picture of your setup ?
Thanks

It's a wooden ramp for a 2 story hutch , it has wooden runners on but nothing covers it.

Get a plank of wood in the length and size you need and then take some thick grass/natural fibre rope and wrap it around the plank. This is will give them good traction and something to nibble on if they feel like it :)

Hi, I extended our ramps to make them less steep. I added very firm cardboard at the bottom of each to make them longer. Works fine.
