Ramps and levels.

I am not an expert, but if you have a C and C cage, they are easy build. If you have extra cubes, just build another level on to the cage with those. For a ramp, get some correx and bend it in to the shape of the ramp you want. Get some old carpet and attach it on the the ramp for grip. I don't think petstores sell them, but there might be some for sale online.
Hope this helped:))

Thankyou :D I'm in two minds whether to get the c and c cage or a 120 one, if I can wait a while and save money then it will be the c and c if I an get the 120 for 30quid then it will be that one... Decisions :(that's a really good idea for the ramp and level, it sounds sooo easy to do xxxxx

Obviously I dont know your financial situation, but
Id always recommend c&c. I wish Id got mine straight away, because I love how easy they are to make and change. You can make one for 30 quid if you wanted. I found this for you.

These are not the original wire cubes, but very cheap and Ive seen them used before and they look very nice. You just need to make sure the correx is high enough for them not to chew the sides. This pack has enough panels to make a 2x4. Check ouy this girls videos if you want to see what a cage would look like using these cubes.

As for correx Id use this site
http://www.protection.co.uk/products/proplex-2mm-corrugated-twin-wall-plastic-board/

Hope this helps. This way you could start out really cheap. If you ever want to expand with more/different grids you can, but you wont have wasted your money, cause you can build out and still use your original set up. :)

Thankyou so much for that! I really appreciate it! I think I'm jut a little scared to make one ") I'm not sure how much correx to get etc... Once they are made can you then take them down for transport and does the correx transport easily? How big is 2 by 4? Sorry I really don't have a clue about this C and C but from what people and you have said, I'm really being swayed towards it! :D x

2 by 4 would be 1.40m by 0.7m. Thats a big cage! 20cm bigger than the 120 cage youre looking for, and probably a bit wider than most shop bought cages too. The grids are obviously very easy to break up and transport. Ive never transported my correx, but its quite flexible and could go in the back of a car. You can even score it and fold it if really needed, or just buy a new correx if you ever have to move house with it and find it difficult to move. From the website I gave you one sheet of correx (or proplex as they call it) would be enough for a 2x4. You would have enough left on the sides to make the sides 25cm high (just under 10 inches) which should keep your pigs and bedding in the cage :) It honestly is very simple. Just put the grids together with the connectors and make a "box" out of correx. If you can do it with cardboard, you can do it with correx. There are good guides on the internet, and people on here could always help you out :) Get your boyfriend to help if hes handy ;) You can always pm me if youve got any more questions. x

Ive got the 120 indoor cage and i made an upstairs.
I put 2 thin pieces of wood through the wire part from one side to the other, then put a cardboard box on top of them, (cut so its about 6inches high, with a gap for the ramp.) Its the full width of the cage and about 14 inches deep.
Made a ramp from some guttering, with a strip of carpet attached.
I put the pigloos underneath for extra hidey holes.
My 5 year olds guineas love it and i can't have C&C because i have 2 dogs.
I can't work out how to post pictures on here, but if i can i will! inbreeding

Thats a good idea, but you still have more options to change you cage model with a c&c. It is actually possible to have a closed c&c, if you have dogs. But I understand different things suit different people :)

I have two dogs at home, so I have spoke to my nana and she said I can keep the piggies upstairs :D which means that a C and C is defo on the cards! :) x thankyou all for your help! Much love and piggie kisses from the girls xxxxxxxxxxx

Is 140 big enough for three piggies? Cause I may purchase 2 :P when i save up x

I recently took out our 2nd level. Yes I know its horrible because the extra level gave them an extra 3 1/2 feet of space (IDK how to convert that) so right now I have 3 girls milling around in a 7 ft cage. But I took out the top level because only one of my girls would use it. The other 2 were terrified of the ramp.

Aww lucky piggies! Can't wait to get some pennies to make my piggies cage!
x

According to this site http://www.guineapigcages.com/ a 2x4 is the minimum for 3 pigs, although 2x5 is preferred. Especially with boars. Most packs will have enough cubes to make a 2x5 anyway, or a 2x4 with upstairs... :)

I have 3 sows to go in it- When I get some more pennies I will expand:) x thankyou so much for your help! when I buy it I will put some pictures on! :) x
