Hi everyone,

Today is my 2nd day on here and I am trying to find somewhere that makes ramp tunnels. I've looked on previous posts but Cosie Cavies and CandE don't seem to be making them anymore. If anyone knows a place to purchase them... Thank you Danielle

Hi. It may be worth contacting CandE cosies as they recently posted a thread on here saying they were back up and running again

I used the fabric boredom breaker ferret one from amazon - fastened with velcro to the ramp, strip of old carpet up the inside to help with grip - pigs loved it!

C and E cosies may be able to make you one so, it is worth contacting them .

I made my own ramp tunnel - by adapting a tunnel made for me by @Sarah from Chucklebunnies . I'll see if I can post some pictures over the weekend.

Do you have a link please?

These are the 3 parts of my ramp .... the " tube " part was made by @Sarah from Chucklebunnies

I hand sewed a bit onto the top

which means I can secure the top of the tunnel

This is the ramp tunnel in situ ...

The bottom is secured like this

if I need to catch my guinea pigs and they are all downstairs, I can close of the ramp tunnel by doing this

Ooooo where is the actual ramp from though?

I'm also looking for an easy way to make/buy a ramp to join 2 stacked C&C cages.

I have seen a few DIY ramps in the Member Gallery: C&C cages/homemade cages thread but I didn't keep any spare Correx. I could hack one of the 2 empty Correx bases I have but I'd rather not as I'd like to sell them one day (and they were such an effort to make!)

I made one but didn't make a cover so now it is in rough shape as it didn't hold up real well I may just have to make another but it was rather difficult

How about using guttering ? I am trying to find time to write a thread all about ramps and tunnels and have been given permission to use some forum members pictures ...

This is a picture of @Gimz 's ramp

My ramp in the photo above was made from plastic guttering cut to size, with off cut carpet tiles velcroed to the ramp. Just remember to smooth off the cut edges with sandpaper and it's done. Easy!

Same only I used double sided carpet tape. ;)

Hi All, thank you ever so much for your comments. I've got a snugglesafe extra long adventure tunnel in my ramp but she has started to nibble it. She loves going up and down now though. So will have a look at the places you have recommended or might get my OH to out sides on the ramp and get some carpet. I have an indoor cage but will be getting a hutch/run with a ramp as my run is only big enough for 2 really and we will have 3 by next Friday I think Sophie is looking forward to her 2 new friends. Thank you for all your help. Danielle

They love to nibble on those plastic corrugated tunnels..well even the paper ones but depends on the piggies! I ended up giving the plastic ones away as they aren't easy to clean and were too small when they grew up.
