Hi all, so we got a ramp tunnel for the piggies & they have finally started using it - hooray!
Only one problem I can no longer catch them for lap time, putting them in the run, cleaning them out etc.
I don't know what to do lol, it already can take 30mins to get them out of the run & now this is an extra mission impossible (or that's how it feels lol) added to the list. Has anybody any advice on this matter? It would be much appreciated :) Thank you

I'm evil but I use the tunnels I have, sideways, to block off the pen. I can't catch mine in a tunnel, it doesn't work for us, so I use them as a barrier to make the chase shorter. But definitely either take the ramp out or block it off.

Thank you! :) yes I shall have a go tomorrow... They are so quick they get to the tunnel before I do lol :)

I have a 2 tier hutch with a ramp and ramp tunnel so can sympathise with you ! I have worked out tactics ! I have a small piece of wood to block off the top of the ramp . The bottom is easy to block off.

Occasionally, a certain little minx ( called Sparkle ) hides inside the ramp tunnel . This always amuses me - especially if I'm catching them for grass time . ( you'do think she'doesn't WANT to be caught ! ). So far, I've always managed to get her out :))

Block both ends of the tunnel, and pick the whole thing up.

Haha yes I know I would pick the ramp tunnel up if it wasn't fabric and velcroed on with multiple straps around the whole ramp lol :) Thank you though.

:)) haha not just me then. They love grass time (and I'm sure they love to play games on me too lol). I managed to sneak this morning and block the sleeping compartment entrance off in the hutch so I was thankfully able to easily put them out for grass time.

I was so chuffed when they had learnt to use the ramp too lol :)
