Junior Guinea Pig
Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good, soft/grippy material to use on the base of my ramp?
We have had a 2 floor C&C for a while now, and it works fine except that i think the material may be too hard/not grippy enough on the piggies little feetsies.
At the moment, Stuey especially, is showing a large dislike at going up the ramp and he will sit at the bottom for ages. We know he can get up though so I think we just need to find a better material to cover the coroplast as i think the current one is hurting his feet. I have noticed that the paws/pads of his feet are quite red! This worries me a little. What material do people use? We are currently use ikea drawer mats, which are like hard plastic but with little nobbles for grips - it was never ideal, and used as a temporary option. We would probably try stair tread next but I know that too can be quite rough so I was just wondering if it would still hurt Stuey's feet. Advice would be greatly appreciated x
