Hi all,

We have just set up Muffin and Crumble's C&C cage, it's so much nicer to look at and easier to clean - the piggies seem to love all the space too! However, we forked out a bit extra for a nice big loft, and so far the ungrateful little madams haven't set paw up there because of the ramp! They didn't use the ramp in their old house but the raised areas were low enough for them to hop up - they are fine going down ramps, just not up! The ramp is a corrugated correx, and I've tried tempting them to use it with all their favourite treats, but no luck so far! Does anyone have any tips?

You need to add something to the ramp with grip on it. A piece of carpet tile cut to size is ideal for this or a bit of thin door mat x

Is your ramp a C&C ramp ?

It takes time for guinea pigs to get used to using a ramp .

I recently redid my cage to and added a different ramp. 3 of my 4 boys used the old ramp but the other didn't as he is much chunkier than the others. I used wood with sides on it and carpet lining so it's sturdy and has a grip for their feet
