Raining

Hello,

My name is Imogen and I am 12 years old and I have a problem. It is currently 1:55am and I have the job of every night putting the guinea piggies to bed. I did so today but what I forgot to do was put their rain cover down as I didn't know if it was going to rain. It is pouring down with rain this second.Is it possible for my babies to get an illness? The hutch we have is not connected to a run and has a covered compartment. They have blankets and lots of hay. Please could you let me know what I should do about this asap as I am struggling to sleep right now! All comments and advice is much apriciated! Xoxoxoxo

I'm sure they'll be fine, and they'll have been hiding in the covered compartment. But you'll now need to make sure all hay and bedding inside the hutch is completely dry, or change it.
If it's not still raining you'll also need to let the roof air to dry out properly before using the rain cover. If it is still raining, then put the cover down until it stops, but let the wood dry out as soon as possible.
