I have covered hutch in thermal wrap which keeps heat in/reflects sun! Has a rain cover over top. My question is should I be removing the rain cover completely in warm weather or just uncovering the front?
It depends on what difference it is making to the hutch. Hutches can trap a lot of heat themselves anyway so with a thermal cover on if it is causing it to become even warmer then remove it. If it isn’t making any difference then it could stay on but make sure the plastic front cannot fall back down.
Thermal covers are said to help keep cool in summer but I’ve never found that to be the case
