Well I am sat in the front room right now and there is a possible space I might try convincing my mum to let me have the pig cage there :)) I mean I know it wont happen but I will ask. But if I am allowed them in the frontroom they would be by the radiator. How far away from the radiator or what temp would it have to be? I am only wondering, probably wont happen but just incase it might :) x

Its probably best not to have them right next to a radiator. My pigs cage is next to one but it covers less than half of it and we rarely have the heating on anyway, so its not an issue for us.

I could put it about a foot away depending on where the sofa is :) Would that be ok? And we try not to have the heating on too often anyway to save monies

If it has a thermostat valve then you could ask your mum if it was possible to turn it down so it is very low?

The only problem is the rest of you might freeze lol :)

Well we have a fireplace across the room so we could use that instead of having the radiator turned up :) at least then it wont be direct heat right next to the pig

Yeah I would put it about a foot away if I was you. Our dining room radiator is the only one in the house that doesn't have a temperature valve so we can't turn it down.

Might ask mum about it :) She will probably be all no and stuff but I hope I can convince her. Don't like having the guinea pig in the garage really :/

Well luckily there is a radiator in the garage (when it wants to work) It is just there isn't any fresh air or proper daylight in there :/ just those nasty tube lights (forge what they are called now) And it's not very cozy in there and its a bit dusty and tools everywhere. And then people pile stuff on top of his cage and use it like an extra shelf grrrr that ticks me off big time
