has anyone got one of these i am thinking of replacing my 4 x2 foot cage for one for extra space is it any good easy to open etc

thanks

I don't have one yet but I'm hoping to buy one in the next month - they look fantastic and I love the stand that you get with them. Everywhere I have tried doesn't have the chrome cage or stand though and that's the one I really want.

dabners web site have the cages? if its a good price though £125 for the cage?

I have one, got mine off ebay, you should look there. and freecycle.

some people are mad what they give away!

I have one of these and brought it brand new off an ebay shop for under £50 including delivery. :D Mine is the one with a a grey base and black bars. I think it was too small for our 3 girls and no longer use it now we have a group of four but except for that its a good cage.

I can probably say more bad things about it than good but i hope you get it cheaper than that :D

under 50 new! where who from! ebay!?

The ebay store was called PetClubUK but it seems like they have closed down their ebay shop now :(. Their website is here: http://www.petclubuk.com but I can't see it in stock any more. I know they had a problem with their supplier for the item and it took about three weeks for it to arrive but the guy who owns it is really nice and he rang me every couple days to let me know what's going on with it :D You could always ring him and ask if he could buy you one in potentially as they used to stock it?

Sorry it turned out to be not that much help :S Can't seem to find alot online about it either, everywhere seems sold out. Maybe emailing the companies and asking when it is back in stock?

Thanks for your help i got one now:) and the girls are popcorning around enjoying the space! i got the white bars and cream base and it is HUGE! Using vetbed and towels seems to work well... also got gertie guinea pig food which they seem to like. I use timothy hay as its less messy i think.(paid full price but at least they are sorted now) they are only small but I'm sure they will grow not sure exactly how big though apparently a bit smaller than male piggies. They can just reach the water bottle and the opening at the side is plenty big enough to reach all areas of the cage and it also opens at the top too.

Do you have a picture of the one that you bought? I had been thinking about that one but wasn't sure if the white and cream would go together too well. I'm a right wee fussy madam.

Hehe no worries, you pigs sound like there loving it! Can't wait to see the pictures :D (Also our females pigs are alot larger than our male! hehe He weighs 0.77kg whereas our girls are 0.96, 0.98 and 1.01kg)

i will take a picture and post ASAP no camera at home ATM maybe tommorow.
But it looks fine almost white.

some pics of our girls home...

Thank you - that looks really nice. Think I'll order one of those for my girls after all. Though, I've still to measure my room to make sure it will fit as it's a massive cage.

I have now put the upstairs section on and lined with vetbed and fleece on the ramp... will see how it goes hope its safe !

Me and my boyfriend went to Notcuts garden centre a couple of weeks back and saw the rabbit 120

went back yesterday to get it and it was £65!

cant go wrong, my girls love it :)

Both girls are using the ramp no problem with the fleece on it! great!:)
