Katie Krafter
Teenage Guinea Pig
Just to let anyone who is interested know, that there is a 150 Liberta R6 cage available on ebay at this link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230804609803&var=530061750280. It's a buy it now and there are nine or so still available.
The listing states that the large one is 5ft x 1ft (W 1.5m x D 0.21m x H 0.21m) but I have one of these already, and it is HUGE - easily big enough for two boars or a group of three. Mine measures 29 inches (78 cm) in depth. This corresponds to the measurements on Liberta's own website (Height 630 mm, Width 1500 mmDepth 740 mm, Bar Spacing 30-35 mm check http://www.libertauk.com/catalogue/Rodent-and-Rabbit-Cages.html, so I am almost sure that this is a mistake on the listing...
The price is really really good - I have not seen these before for under £120 plus delivery, and this one is £103.99 with free two day delivery. It's an undamaged, new product as well. There is no stand, but as I want mine to stack for a new pairing, this doesn't matter to me..
The only drawback with this cage is that the upper level is wire, and so is the ramp to it, so it does need covering with something so that the little darlings don't get sore paws, but this isn't a problem as newspaper on top with usual bedding will get round it.
I can highly recommend this cage!
