I've had this cage a week now and there's something I can't fathom out.
It came with a little hidey house, with a wire floor insert which makes the wire floor elevated from the bottom of the hidey.
What is this for? I'm worried he will get his leg stuck between the bars as they are quite spaced out.

I had the same cage, it's meant to be so they can lay in it and have there poop and wee fall through, but obviously piggies can't have wire flooring, it's bad for them so i just took it out, you don't need it, mines in some cupboard somewhere haha (:

I think it's meant to be a litter tray of sorts - if you take out the wire flooring bit you can either line it with fleece (nice little sleeping area), or megazorb (to use as a litter tray) - or do as i did and just fill the whole thing up with hay and use it as a sort of hay rack/tray - word of caution though, if you decide to fill it with hay, some piggies do like to get in there and will poop/pee in there, so just make sure you check/clean it out regularly :p

Like said above piggies like to sleep in hay so you may want to put a thin layer of sawdust or whatever bedding you use in the base so that when they wee it gets absorbed, i found that out from wee soaked belly's on my pigs ! haha.
