Thank you, I have felt a lot of guilt wondering if I could have done things differently. The veterinary nurse took him home with her over night to try and get him to eat as he was refusing food after surgery and he passed at her home. I feel guilt as I should have been with him, all I can think is him looking for me it breaks my heart. But I know she was the best option as I hadn't slept the night before trying to get him to eat and was sleep deprived and couldn't stay up to feed him all night I was worried I'd do it wrong. And she was injecting the good pain meds so I know in my heart it was the right thing but just the idea of him looking for me and thinking I'd left him, I think I will feel guilty foreverHi and welcome
