Quite a minging question about dominance!

Ben has been paired with Dave today and let's just say that he got a bit over excited while trying to hump him... :embarassed: There is still some on Dave (nowhere dangerous) so should I get rid, or leave it there? I guess what I'm saying is, is it better that Ben can smell his scent on Dave, or should I remove it?! : :o

I don't find that leaving it there does any good. My guinea pig always got depressed when he got stuff on him so I would remove it. Then he would run and be happy again. I found after a few times he got angry enough to let the other know who is boss, but they kept this up for months. Keep a water sprayer on hand and just spray the humper when he does this.
