My piggie Megan, lives in the living room with us, but the weekend I re arranged the living and moved Megan's cage to a different place in the living room.
Since then, she has become very quite and hardly squeaks at all, before as soon as she heard me open the cupboard to get her food, or anyother food, she would squeak loudly and popcorn around her cage.
She is a lone female at the moment, as I am searching for a friend for her to bond with.
She is eating and drinking as she normally does, but just seems unhappy.
Do you think she will settle in to the cage be in a different position or should I move her back?

I would expect she might be a little scared about the new location - i'm sure that in time she'll come to get to know her new surroundings. Perhaps get her out and have some floor time - my piggies always go nuts and have such a good time, it really tires them out too and they have a good snooze afterwards.

I think having another sow in there would really help her - make sure that you bond them on neutral territory but there's no reason as to why they shouldn't get on.

Good luck and let us know how Megan's getting on.

Thanks for your help, she seems happier today and has started squeaking again, so she seems to be settleing in. :):)
