When we had our pet piggies yesterday they were snuggled together and seemed okay together. Today, the one, Kwazii is occupying the igloo type house and won't let Pablo in when he tries to go in. Is this normal or is this a sign of them not getting along?

Kwazii is probably just saying that he is the dominant guinea pig.
It is normal for them to show this behaviour.
Do you have another hidey house in there? If Kwazii isnt letting Pablo in the igloo, maybe Pablo would appreciate somewhere else to go

Thanks. No we don't have another hidey house in there so I am going to have to find another one to put in there.

Yes, they will need two hideys, you don't want them fighting. I'd advise you to get two of everything. x

Typical dominance behaviour.

Ideally, get everything in twos, hideys, bowls and water bottles; one of each at each end with the hay in the middle. That way, each boar has his own corner (top boar has first choice) and noboar can get possessive over something and start a fight. They can still snuggle up if they wish to!

A few minutes ago Pablo ran from the end of the cage straight into the house with Kwazii, and there's been no sign of any fighting. Looked inside and they are snuggled up together.

I have two boars and only one pigloo, they seem to take it in turns as to who's in it and occassionally do share. Not had any fighting over it...

I also provide a cardboard box at the other end of their hutch, again just a place for if they both want a hidey but dont want to be together

Haha when I got my first two girls Bea kept doing this and not letting Bumble in, the second I got a second hidey they decided to be best buddies and snuggle down together in one hidey rolleyes that'll be piggies for you!
