Hi!
I have some questions about bathing guinea pigs.
(note: my piggies aren't dirty or anything I'd just like to know )

#1:
Do you really need to bathe your guinea pigs?

If you do, what shampoo can you use?

1) Not usually.

2) Only something specifically labelled for guinea pigs. See guide here for recommendations: Bathing (including cleaning grease glands)

Bathing is not advised unless specifically required. The guide linked above explains this.
I’ve only had to bathe very dirty piggies with long hair that can get stinky with wee and poo (and I’ve then trimmed the hair around their rear ends to help keep them clean) or poorly piggies who’ve needed a bum bath (eg if they’ve been laying in their own wee through injury or illness).
