Question About Willow Sticks

Hi everyone,

I bought willow stick chews from PetSmart the other day, thinking the pigs would love them, but when I saw Coconut chewing on one, she was actually eating it! Not chewing it...I'm a bit worried, I have to say, and I've removed them from the cage for now. Does anyone's pigs eat their willow stick chews? I have no idea why she was eating it instead of chewing it and if it is ok for them to digest, but if you could help me figure things out, that would be fantastic. Thank you!

We have a willow tree in our garden and if the pigs can get to it, they will! Boy do our lot love their willow
