Hello! New piggy owner here - two adorable little girls named S’mores and Snickers. We first tried the recycled care fresh paper bedding, but it goes everywhere. I just bought a GuineaDad fleece liner with pocket, and the instructions said to wash it first. I washed it alone on a quick cycle. It absorbed so much water that it was unable to spin properly. I tried squeezing some of the water out but it’s just soaked through. Right now it’s hanging in my washroom and I hope it might dry in a few days (!). What did I do wrong? Has anyone else had this trouble washing those liners? Thank you!

Hello! Welcome 😊
If you washed it alone it might have unbalanced the machine when it absorbed the water and then that’s why it refused to spin. I’ve had machines do that if there wasn’t enough in the machine to spread the load properly. If that makes sense. You might have better luck washing it with other bits alongside it?

If you find the Guineadad YouTube channel, they have a video all about how to wash their fleece cage liners.
Hope this helps :)
