I have a snugglesafe with cover. Do people just use this for piggies to sit on or are they too hot and need to have a thicker cover ie fleece on. As you can tell I have tried heating mine up yet.
Thanks

I have a snugglesafe..I use it mostly in the winter...the cover that is on it will be enough!

I too have a snugglesafe that I use in winter. When the cover is dirty, I use an old pillowcase or tea towel. So long as piggy doesn't touch the actual snugglesafe, they will be fine x

yeah they are a great product. I use mine without the cover under a cardboard box for extra warmth

Although we have a fleece cover on ours I always wrap the whole thing in an old towel or teatowel - I just find it easier to wash these than the fleece!

They become warm rather than over-hot (I use them outside for my little semi feral cat in her kennel, in winter); although they have covers, I tend to put an extra towel over the top anyway, more for her comfort to lie on than protection from the heat. And I most certainly would use them indoors for your piggies, because a room without heating could be quite chilly in the winter. (And last year when I had a really bad back I "borrowed" one to sit against, as they retain their heat such a long time)
