Question about discussing my website

I don't want to do anything wrong so thought I should ask this here first. I am hoping I can post a thread in the Breed forum about featuring Ridgy pigs on my ridgeback pages. These pages feature anti-breeding links and the main pages are simply pictures of the pigs with a name and general location of the pig and owner. May I post this on the breed forum to allow the opportunity to anyone wishing to feature their pig?

I simply have a soft spot for ridgies due to my first Ridgeback pig Reuben, the one in my avatar. But of course all pigs are super adorable. As I said in my first post: Guinea pigs are the greatest creatures ever created.
So I realize some might think it unfair to non ridgy pigs for the ridgebacks to have their own pages and not the rest. But I can only do so much. And like some of us have webpages for our pigs and others for cats, dogs, horses or gerbils, or whatever, I decided to make special pages for ridgeback GPs. Hope that puts it in a respectable light.

I am sure a mod will answer more fully, but I would think no. If you start getting into the ins and outs of particular breeds, this may lead on to standards and we do not discuss breeding/showing as you know.
I can understand your love of a particular kind of pig, why not post in the photos section, we will all share with you then, without breed discussion. x

There is a members websites board for members to post links to websites they have created. It is only possible to post in this section after a certain number of posts have been made to avoid people joining merely to advertise other sites.

I think this is the board you would need to use however you will need to ensure that your site is in keeping with the rules and ethos of the forum. If you are in doubt you are welcome to PM me or one of the other mods a link to the site then we can check it over before you post about it.

Ok, Thanks. What if a website link is in reply to someone asking for things like help naming pigs. I also have categorized name lists on my website that I like to share with folks to help them out. If someone asked for name help and I gave some suggestions and then a link to my name pages would that be wrong?
