This winter I will move all my guinea-pigs into the shed, but the girls are in a shed that doesn't have a bottom floor its just like an underhutch run, so I thought I'd put them in something different because I don't want their run bit to be on the shed floor because its carpet and they'd just pee all over it :)) I found some C&C grids in my shed and I was going to use these and just make a cage for them for the winter, because I don't know of any indoor cages big enough for 3 guinea-pigs that would fit in my shed, and I want to use the grids because I have them. I don't know where I can buy correx and I don't know if my mum would let me, so is there anything else I can use instead of correx or could I just make it like an indoor run for them to live in in the shed for the winter?

How many grids do you have? Because 3 guinea pigs need a 2x5 c&c cage, and here is a thread that will help you about the correx http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=53285

Hi :)p
I'm in the same position. My kids playhouse is narrow and difficult to accomodate a decent sized cage or hutch. I was going to ask my hubby to make a wooden pen with 2 levels. Is there anyone that could make one for you ?. But i guess if you have the grids then you want to use them . I did consider grids but i thought a wooden pen would be more warmer than the grids. post pics when youve made ! :)p

I've got loads of grids, about 30 or 40. My mum bought loads of them and built a shoe rack with them but then she took it apart and gave them to me. I can't really build a wooden pen because I need something I can take down easily and move in the Summer.
