Question about cages

This winter I will move all my guinea-pigs into the shed, but the girls are in a shed that doesn't have a bottom floor its just like an underhutch run, so I thought I'd put them in something different because I don't want their run bit to be on the shed floor because its carpet and they'd just pee all over it I found some C&C grids in my shed and I was going to use these and just make a cage for them for the winter, because I don't know of any indoor cages big enough for 3 guinea-pigs that would fit in my shed, and I want to use the grids because I have them. I don't know where I can buy correx and I don't know if my mum would let me, so is there anything else I can use instead of correx or could I just make it like an indoor run for them to live in in the shed for the winter?

I'm in the same position. My kids playhouse is narrow and difficult to accomodate a decent sized cage or hutch. I was going to ask my hubby to make a wooden pen with 2 levels. Is there anyone that could make one for you ?. But i guess if you have the grids then you want to use them . I did consider grids but i thought a wooden pen would be more warmer than the grids. post pics when youve made ! p

I've got loads of grids, about 30 or 40. My mum bought loads of them and built a shoe rack with them but then she took it apart and gave them to me. I can't really build a wooden pen because I need something I can take down easily and move in the Summer.
