Question About Bonding/handling/taming

So I have 3 younger guinea pigs that I have been trying to tame. I have heard that taking them out of their enclosure (7x3 foot C&C) and giving them some cuddle time is the best way to go about this. However my piggies always run from me when I try to pick them up and I have read in various places not to keep chasing them if they run. If I follow that rule though I will not be able to take my piggies out and handle them. All of my piggies will eat from my hand when both in and out of the cage so I am thinking this shouldn't be to hard. Any advice would be appreciated.

http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/videos/: You can use any kind of cosy or container of your choice, even a walk-in cardboard box with a treat at the far end and a soft rag on the bottom. let your piggies get relaxed with any new equipment first, so they have no negative associations with it.
