Question about boars....

I've had a boar in the past and he was neutered as he was to go in with the girls.

My question is does anyone know if neuteured boars get on better with each other or is it pretty much the same as if they were entire, I hope I've asked clearly enough I'm just curious.
 
Neutered or not, if they're going to be jerks to each other they'll still be jerks. The only difference is they're - apparently - less likely to become impacted if they're neutered, but I've heard of boars who are neutered who become impacted because they lose condition in their muscles, as opposed to the impaction boars get when they become unwell.
 
Neutering won't affect their given personalities only their ability to father babies. All the neutered boars i have/have had became impacted within 6months of the op; the youngest being 2yrs old (when neutered) but my intact boars are not impacted, the oldest ones being 4.5yrs. :)
 
My question was more about behaviour rather than other issues, but thanks.
 
I was discussing other issues as a "no it won't affect this, but it does affect health and that's all"

Better you know, I guess. Would have looked very impersonal if I'd just said "no" when I can type my lil' fingers off with information you' don't want. I like the look of my own typing :D

Will add to this :

My neutered boars lived with sows but i'd put both neutered boars & all sows into my run together & the more dominant boar would push the other out the way & have a go at some of the sows he didn't live with,

I was making fun of myself for giving people more information or answers to questions they asked because I like to read my own typing. Not taking a dig at you for expressing we were answering something you hadn't asked.

Hey my fault hun I'm hopeless, but I really do appreciate the info I've gotten, I think I'm having a late senior moment;)
 
Only when I'm making my serious teacher face! 8) ... with shades because there is no teacher smiley.

I'll try to remember for the future but bear with me I do tend to suffer from senior moments on a regular basis :))
