Hi iv noticed my 3 sows have started to smell a little off wee since switching to fleece. Anybody else experienced this and any way i can stop it?

Believe it or not, my girls smell stronger in the toilet department than my boys ;)
Probably because they live in trio's and a herd as opposed to pairs.
As long as they are healthy, drinking etc. no signs of UTI's, I just change their bedding more often (I use vet bed as it suits us and them)
Vet bed wicks the wee away, the surface stays dry - I just pop a fleece blanket underneath to protect the pen base for the girls and am amazed when I deep clean, how wet the fleece is but the vet bed feels dry :))

I might need to try vet bed because i use doggy training pads a towel and then fleece, clean the poop 3 times a day and change bedding every 2 days and they still smell its like they wee where they sleep and dont move :red they are all healthy aswell... I prefered megazorb but couldnt stand the smell of it either lol.

Maybe just buy enough to pop into their sleeping areas if you don't want to buy large amounts, I buy rolls of 10ft x 3ft and cut to size but you can buy off cuts at a good price :)
Check suppliers on ebay, lots of designs, colours etc.
