Queso's New Home! :d

Our little Queso (his story here) is finally transitioning from his very small, cramped container cage his last owner had him in, to a luxurious pig mansion for this sweet little bachelor.

He loves all his new toys. He's a bit timid on the ramp, but we think he's so much more active and isn't just sitting in the corner anymore. (Unless he's chilling in his hay box.)

I'm proud he was so brave to learn how to walk on the ramp. I made a little fleece forest for him and he's living the life. We plan to get him a buddy in a month once he gets used to us and when we move in three months we will expand the cage. :>

Wow, thanks to you he's got room to be a piggy and do piggy things like zoomies, popcorns, rearranging the furniture etc. He must think all his Christmases have come at once.
And it's great that you plan to get him a companion, that will make his life complete. He is so lucky to have found his way to you.

It maybe worth while when thinking about getting Queso a forever friend you contact http://www.theguineapigrescue.com/ ( Dallas Tx ) Although not in your city they may be able to recommend a suitable shelter in you area..

The new cage is fantastic - he must be so happy.
You have done an amazing job to improve his situation so much in such a short time.
In honesty I am still reeling from shock that he was kept in a plastic storage box.
