Hi All

I already have 3 adult piggies, 1 male and 2 females living happily together.
All 3 are well except the issues I'm having with Speedy and her problems with diahorea & bloat, have posted other threads on this. ")

Anyway I now have 3 more female piggies, 2 sisters at approx 6.5 weeks which came from a pet shop and a 4 month old whom I rehomed from P@H, bless she has already had a litter, poor little love.

I eventually want to put them in with my other 3, my boy Nugget will then have 5 girlfriends! some would say lucky him! :)
But I am having serious space issues and I have had to put the 3 new ones in together and then I think I am going to have to put them in the same room as my original 3 but obviously not in the same house yet.

I want to give them the quarantine period just to be on the safe side and so far none of the new ones appear to have any obvious health issues.

So after all that waffle :red My question is will this be ok? I have read that the quarantine period should ideally be in a different room too! :{

Thanks :{

i seperate mine for nearly a week (but according to some website it should be 2 weeks) i just put her in a plastic tray (of course with food hay and sawdust) next to the cage where rest piggies are so they will smell her nearby, it says once they used to the smell it's easier to introduce them. make sure to wash your hands between handing them.
