Not really quarantine I suppose, but more as in what shape I should put the cage in with two girls coming on Sunday :)

Cage now is a 3x4 (though one grid half to fit fleece). While they settle in was wondering what shape to fit to. I could do two 2x4 separate for Ginny and the two, but also could just get two 2x4 and connect them and then put a grid wall in between. Ideas? Thanks :)

Quarantined should be in a separate room to prevent airborne illness from spreading to your existing pigs. If you put them in a separated cage, they can pass whatever they have to your current pigs.

If they came from a place that have already quarantined for illness, then you can put them in the same room.

Thanks @lissie I have been told they have been quarantined as they've been in their current location for months

Sorry to be ignorant, but what types of illnesses can be transferred airborne?

Thanks. Just for safety I'm going to put them in the spare room for a bit. Two or three weeks?

When I first got Minja and Teddy, I got them from a p@h unknowingly and had no idea of quarantine at the time too and out their cage right next to Ginny's, somehow lucky and no problems thinking back on it.

Thanks again :) Sorry to bother with all these questions, but should I use fleece or woodshavings? I'd like to use fleece but not sure how to wash it properly if they're on quarantine and unsure of how much to bother them as on fleece I'd have to get out waste 1-3 times a day

edit- I'm considering this, but not sure about washing on forty to sixty or simply thirty like normal
