I currently have a ferplast 120.. and wondered how easy it would be to but a "hay loft.. or second level with a ramp in the cage. I have seen this done in a c&c cage... but wondered if it would be possible to add one in my ferplast cage.. especially for someone like me who is very "handy" with diy haha..

Thanks

Jenny :)

Yep, it is easy, i did it on mine. I used a good solid cardboard box (approx 2 foot by 18inches) to make the upper floor, with sides cut to height about 5 inches.
It sat on 2 narrow strips of wood that i put through the cage bars, from one side to the other. I secured it with string threaded through some holes in the box and tied to the bars.
The ramp was pastic drainpipe with carpet on the bit they walked on.
I put 2 pigloos under the box/wooden strips so that if anything gave way, the box would only drop an inch or 2. (which it never did btw)
The piggies loved it, although when Eddie passed away, Alfie no longer used it so i have now removed it.
If i can find a photo, i will post it, if it can work out how!
