Flamestriker
Adult Guinea Pig
I am using cheap puppy pads, and although they are great in the pen, they are not so great in the cage.
I clean and replace the pads in the pen every two days but I clean the cage every week and the pads are saturated. I am thinking of going to fleece for the new C&C cage I'm having delivered next week, which will enable me to change the pads in the cage easier mid week.
But for the time being I'm using Aubiose and pads. In your experience, what are the best puppy pads to use? If I'm going to use fleece, I need them to mask smells as well. Actually, does fleece smell as it wicks away piggy wee? Surely it's still found to smell?
So far I have been using different combinations of Aubiose, Fitch, puppy pads, and newspaper. And I'm still not happy. Sigh.
