hi I have lined the bottom of popcorns hutch with 2 puppy pads and Fitch bedding on top these are slightly scented to encourage dogs to pee on them hopefully they will be ok just seems expensive as I need two each time to line hutch bottom completely as popcorn doesn't care if he pees in his bedroom area I was looking at the disposable incontinence bed pads which in my eyes work the same as puppy pads but are bigger what do people think?

And I've had bottles leak on me before so bottom was Getting wet from that too thankfully have just got him a new bottle so fingers crossed no more leaky bottles

And sorry for the questions would I be able to use a washable incontinence bed pad for lining the bottom of his hutch as these work out a lot cheaper in the long run

I don't see why you couldn't use a washable incontinence pad - it probably would end up cheaper in the long run but they aren't really that cheap and you would probably have to buy a couple at least to alternate between washing.

I buy puppy pads for my piggies and have to use 2 in the cage. I buy mine from B&M £3.99 for 30 pads, or a box of 40 from homebargains for £4.99. I just recently stocked up and bought 2 lots of b&m ones and a box of homebargains and that should do me for the best part of a year and it cost me roughly £13 which I thought was good :)

do you mean with fleece? or still with fitch? because fitch sticks to them like crazy! but they're really good under fleece. asda do disposable baby bedmats £3 for 10. these are good aswell. i'd stay away from anything with a scent in them which are meant for dogs. they're not meant to be good for piggies :)

can't recommend puppy pads from B&M enough - I only use them under the hay in their hay tray - and use fleece liners in the rest of the cage - they soak up pee really well and each evening I just roll up the pad with the lefter over hay and change for new - so easy and no smells! works out a pad a day for me so nice and cheap too!

Well I brought 12 pampers disposable change mats tonight for £4 for bottom of hutch next week will be getting 100 unscented puppy pads for popcorn I've seen them on Amazon

I use toddler bed pads, they are much thicker than puppy pads and last much longer. I looked at washable pads but decided I didn't want any more washing!
