Pumpkin Isn't As Happy To Cuddle With Me Now He Has A New Buddy

Hello all..

I have recently found a mate for my young loan boar and it's worked out well, they seem happy, lots of running around and popcorning. The older boar is doing a lot of rumblestrutting but has stopped actually trying to hump his new friend. The only down side is he is a lot less keen on cuddles with me, he used to stretch out and have a snooze while I stroked him but now he will only stay still long enough to eat and then he's wanting to wander around presumably to look for his mate. I am happy he seems happy but miss the cuddles.

Has this happens to anyone else?

Eeep no wonder you miss cuddles from him. Perhaps once he has got used to having a guinea pig friend he will come round a bit. Hope so.

Be Patient and enjoy his happiness. His Primary Focus is now his Guinea pig friend, buthe has not lost his bond with you. Have cuddles with both Boys together.
