I've had a very productive bank holiday weekend building a new run for my guineas. The triangle ends come off and it folds up like a book so I don't have to leave it sat in the garden when its not being used.

It took me all 3 days to complete and I've scratched myself and bashed my fingers with the hammer more times than I can count but I think it was worth it!

Here are some pics of the finished article being tested out by my Girlies...

My bunny Kel wonders what all the fuss is about...

The Girls seem to approve!

Looks great! Well done, I'm sure they'll love it.

My boyfriend started work on a new run for our buns this weekend, still got a long way to go though! He keeps getting distracted bless him.

wow! we were looking at hutches today and the runs like this cost in excess of £60!

what beautiful piggies and a gorgeous bunny! i'm in love! please keep us updated with pigtures of this tribe!

It wasn't really a cheap option to be honest! @)

I got all the materials from B&Q and spent about £45, and then there's the 3 days it took to me build it! The wire was the most expensive thing at just over £20 for the roll (I do have some left over tho for future projects ;)), but I think if you shopped around or knew a local timber merchant or something you could find all the bits at a much better price...

I just love building things for the pigs, I find it really satisfying so don't really mind that its wasn't hugely cheaper!

with the savings you made you could treat them to something guilt free though :p;);)

looks great. I am currently building a lid for my C&C indoor exactly the same as that, its nearly done.

as you say, not the cheapest option though is it. it just looks better and is alot lighter than making the lid from grids, especially on a 4X3 C&C

awwwwww! I do too! It's so worth it when they enjoy it so much! And your run looks amazing! Very nice!

Minor oversight in the creation of my run - its too big!

Our lawn is a bit uneven and so far on 2 occasions they've managed to escape where theres a dip or depression which was never a problem with the other run I built that was half the size...! I will have to be extra careful where I position it from now on. :^-

Little monkeys :(|)
