Hi All
My too little boars Pancake and Patch are now 2 weeks old and one of them is quite a big lad. Now here's the problem they have started to try and mount there mum Sparkle and started making all the rumblings of very fruity Guinea Pigs. Help! What do I do ?? They're almost ganging up on Sparkle and chasing her around in a mad frenzy. They are far too young to be seperated just yet surely ?
Thanks in advance, G x

If the boys are rumbling and trying to mount mum I would take them out. They should be ok at 2 weeks old but if necessary you can supplement their feed.

Are they eating ok?

Yes thay are eating very well but still drinking mums milk gx

Seperate! You don't want more mini pigs!

If you're worried about them needing more milk, get some lactol (you can get it from pets a home, it's a puppy and kitten milk) or some nestle carnation evaporated milk, and mix that with water and soak brown bread in it. They'll get all their milky nutriants from there.

Thanks Guys I will seperate them straight away, like I say they are big strong healthy boys so I think they will be ok.
Thanks for all the advice, think that I would have had a nervous breakdown by now ha ha if it wasn't for all of your help and this fantastic forum !!

I agree with all that's been said - they sound like very rude little chaps :))

Just would like to add - it's worth keeping an eye on mums milk for a few days to make sure it dries up ok if babies are being removed whilst still quite young.
