Preparing for warm weather

My boys are out on the lawn weather permitting. I wondered what preparations others take to support cavies in warm weather? Last summer when it was ver6 hot here I froze water bottles to put in with them, I also use a ‘sale’ and parasols. I’ve tried them on frozen ice cubes with carrots but only the ants were interested.

Honestly they should be fine as long as their is an area that is shaded where they can go to when they are hot. It should be below 75 F in the shaded area. A guinea pig should not be in an area with no shade because they can overheat. Also I would make sure its not scorching hot outside if it is they should be outside at all and you shouldn't risk it.
