Hello I am just wondering if the following would be safe as hay holders? Also does anyone know if you can use tubber wear plastic boxes? Thanks :)

They might chew the Tupperware, its quite rubbery and flexible. But cardboard boxes are always a hit! Some people warn against boxes with printing on them but I have to admit that I don't worry about that.

Thank you for your advice :)

I put the hay in their litter trays and have bent over grids for the timothy hay. Have used boxes clipped to the side of my c&c cage before with a wide slit cut in it.

If you use a cardboard box, remember to put some newspaper at the bottom to soak up the urine. Oh, and clean out/add new hay several times a day...

Another idea is paper bags. Mine love the Holland and Barrett bags. Handles cut off just in case, lined with newspaper and then loads of hay. Thry absolutely love them

Thank you so much everyone :) love the ideas :) they have a hay rack at the moment but I wanted to give them some new ways of having there hay as well :) i found some egg boxes as well so think that could be some fun for them :)
