I put the hay in their litter trays and have bent over grids for the timothy hay. Have used boxes clipped to the side of my c&c cage before with a wide slit cut in it.
Another idea is paper bags. Mine love the Holland and Barrett bags. Handles cut off just in case, lined with newspaper and then loads of hay. Thry absolutely love them
Thank you so much everyone love the ideas they have a hay rack at the moment but I wanted to give them some new ways of having there hay as well i found some egg boxes as well so think that could be some fun for them
View attachment 38614 This is my girls hay box, they love it. It has a plastic grow bag tray in the bottom, then newspaper. You can't see her but daisy is in there somewhere.
