Hi guys. My 6 months old boy lost 60 grams in a day (from 885g to 825g). He was completely fine before that. First i thought it was bc of bloat (his poop was small and tear shaped). He was treated with Simeticone, Metoclopramide and Fibreplex. Also, i sryinge fed him for 3 days. He got better and gained about 40 grams of his weight back. Than he got sick again, lost weight and I noticed his bum is wet.
Our vet thinks it's UTI. She prescribed him Baytril and Metacam for 7 days.
She did not see any bladder stones on ultrasound, but his bladder was empty at that moment (if that means anything).
I'm very worried and open for any suggestions.
Also, how much Emeraid (and for how long) should i give him trough recovery? He is still able to eat on his own.
