Hello, I had posted about my younger guinea put a while ago getting ringworm. I bet her back this week and have been watching her sister to make sure she doesn’t get it. Of course two days before i’m supposed to get Skye, my oldest Liberty has a symptom of ringworm! Is this ringworm? I know the pic isn’t clear, I will try to take more.AC8C59BE-29F9-4FFE-892D-9D1B83A41D7B.jpeg

It could be - she really needs to see a vet for confirmation.
She has a very sweet little face.

And where has your other piggy been staying while she is treated?
I am a bit confused about why she isn't with you?

I will schedule her an appointment, aww haha thank you! She has been at an exotic pet vet, she’s very young so she’s being supervised while on medications, and they didn’t want Liberty to get it but looks like that happened anyways.

I’m sorry to hear Liberty got it as well but ringworm is highly contagious and has a 10-14 day incubation period. As they were obviously together when Skye started showing symptoms, then the normal course of action is to leave them together but to treat them both. Treating the unaffected piggy within the 10-14 day incubation period that can prevent the other piggy from ever showing symptoms.

Make sure to see a vet for diagnosis. The guide below explains how to deal with ringworm including the stringent hygiene needs.
