I noticed one of my male guinea pigs started to bite his right hand and i thought he was just itching then i thought i might have noticed something in it but i wasn’t too sure. So i was about to go somewhere then i put him in his cage and i noticed there was blood now on his finger. I started to panick so i took him back out and started to examine it but it was very hard to keep him still. I used carrots and lettuce to hold him still for a few but it is his inner finger so it was very hard to get to it. I cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide and he seems to have stopped noticing it and not feeling agitated by it and so i’ll post a picture of it but he seems fine now i’m just wondering if it may just be a slight irritation from his hay because right before he was sitting and playing around in his hay box and it seemed he may have gotten a splinter from that but i’m not sure. My mom says i should leave it and it will work itself out if it is a splinter and to just keep cleaning it to make sure it is clean.EAD3D05B-B910-4E9D-A113-CD76BABA16FC.webpEAD3D05B-B910-4E9D-A113-CD76BABA16FC.webp
