Possible fur/hay mites

Just today I went to go give my pigs a bath, I noticed both got squeamish as I neared their rump. Upon further inspection I noticed a bald spot with a few crusties. It must be fairly recent as I inspect them monthly and clean their cage frequently. I know it’s starting to get cooler which is hay mite time. I can see also specks near their bum along the hair shafts. I’m just hoping for someone else to take a look before I attempt any sort of treatment, as this would be our first bout with any sort of mite. They’re still fairly damp in the pictures due to a bath, but usually the area is dry.

Don’t attempt to use any product off the shelf. The correct treatment needs to be prescribed by weight and in the correct length of course.
